- I'm the founder of Crocus Lane Quilts (www.crocuslanequilts.com). Oh yes, I make lots of quilts and give quilting instruction, but I'm also a public speaker. I've traveled across the US - - over 500 times (whew!) - - sharing my grandmother's orphan train rider story through the blocks of a commemmorative quilt. And I'm still going strong! My book, "They Named Me Marjorie" was published in 2006. I also have a keen affection for Quilt Barns.
