A laser print copy of Every Barn Tells a Story arrived at our doors this morning. It's the first time that Diane and I have seen the whole book in print. Oo La La! I can't wait to read it now.

We're THAT close. The final edit of Every Barn Tells a Story will be this week. Someone compared book publishing process to the birth process - - we're dilated to 9 cm now!

By the way, in correspondence from Donna Sue Groves last week, we learned that there are now 3,200 quilt barns on Quilt Trails in 30 states. Imagine that.

As evidenced by the robins that I saw yesterday - - - SPRING IS COMING.
So now, it's time to make your plans to attend The Quilt Trail Gathering hosted by Donna Sue Groves and The Brown County Department of Travel and Tourism in Winchester, Ohio. This fun-filled event will celebrate a decade of barn quilts on The Quilt Trail and imagine the possibilities for the next decade and beyond.
You may learn more and make your reservation at http://www.quilttrailgathering.com/.
Be sure to tell all your friends. Calling all quilters - - -This event would make an outstanding field trip for your quilt group. Just think of all the quilt shops you could visit along the way!

Honest to goodness! Look what I saw today. If this isn't a sign that Spring is coming, nothing is. Believe it or not, I spotted them while with my mom in my hometown ---Robbinsdale, Minnesota ...... seriously.
Now, back to work on Every Barn Tells a Story. We got word earlier today that there's a good chance we'll see the second half of the book tomorrow. Can't wait!!

We experienced a little glitch with one of the photos for our book, so Diane volunteered to shoot another. Here she is bundled up to venture out. Winchills in our neck of the woods are approaching 20 BELOW zero today. You go girl!
